The winner for May 2013 hails from the Evil Mad Science blog, by the (apropos) handle of VAX-Dude. Congrats, email me for your prize!
The Ware is a VAX9000 High Density Signal Carrier, and Windell’s write-up on how the carriers are built and work is quite a good read. It reminds me that there’s always more than One Way to make a circuit substrate. In fact, the process still sounds like something viable and worth looking into even today for very high density interconnects that require a bendable substrate.
